25 Gifts for a 3 Year Old Girl

Some of these gifts are geared toward a 3 year old girl, but many of them are gender neutral. I went looking for the best gifts for a 3 year old with my own daughter in mind. You already know that we love to do crafts and that I am not a fan of electronic toys. I’m really trying to concentrate this Christmas on giving my kids gifts that can last for years and years, like some of these wooden toys.

I also like giving gifts they can wear (a hat or sweatshirt, for example) or gifts that they’ll use often, like a stroller wagon.

My other favorite category of gifts for little kids? Consumables. Meaning they’ll use it up! Like our favorite coloring pages or washable paints.

Movement toys are also great, especially for indoor days that can sometimes feel never ending. And when you live in New England, there are plenty of those days because of the weather.

My top gift picks for a 3 year old girl

This dollhouse is adorable. Actually, everything from this brand is adorable and so well-made. (We have this dollhouse and this dollhouse, both of which are pretty sturdy, too.)

This beanbag game can be used indoors (I’ve seen it in a doorway!) or outdoors, which is perfect for heading into the winter months.

Our stroller wagon is a new addition, but it’s one that our 3 year old gets SO excited about using.

Balance scooter: Like a balance bike but more European

Color-your-own playhouse with unicorns!

Soft play structure for climbers (on our list- if only we had a bigger play room!)

3-piece Kitchen set (also comes in gray)

Noah’s Ark: How cute is this set!

Cute toiletry bag that they can use into the teen years, for traveling, as a pencil case, or just to hide treasures

A letter recognition puzzle that doubles as a fishing activity for hand-eye coordination

What kid doesn’t love chalk?

DIY garden stones. These need adult supervision but are a great craft project!

Monogrammed sweater: Cute and practical!

Magnetic dress up dolls (Note: This comes with lots of little pieces, so maybe skip if there’s a crawling baby in the house, too)

Craft stuff! I LOVED getting art supplies as a kid. Washable paint is a must-have for any 3 year old.

Whoever came up with the idea of these coloring pages and markers was a genius. The markers ONLY work on the special coloring pages, so even if they’re dropped on the beige couch they can’t make a mess. They’re awesome for traveling, too, or if you are in the car a lot.

This bird feeder might seem like kind of a random choice, but we got one last winter and have had so much fun watching the birds come to the feeder.

Monogram hat (they make mommy and me sizes!)

A dress to twirl in

Chapstick! Princesses! This would make a great stocking stuffer, too.

I’m convinced that all little ones love construction vehicles, and this is the Christmas version of one of our favorite bedtime books

A balance bike is the pre-bike every preschooler needs.

We’ve had these magnetic tiles out for about 6 months, and we play with them EVERY day. There are add-on kits you can get to build cars, animals, rocket ships, etc.

A pack of affordable velvet hair bows for the little one who loves to get dressed up

At 3 years old there’s a lot of independent play and book reading, so a chair their size would be a great addition to a playroom or bedroom. (These can be monogrammed or have a name embroidered on them.) And to help foster that independent time, we love our audio player called a Tonie Box which is perfect for a 3 year old.

What did your kids love at age 3?
