I was writing out our shopping list this morning and realized that I HAVE to go to Target for specific things. Why? Because they’re part of the Good and Gather line and therefore are only sold at Target! So I figured I would share my favorites here in case you haven’t heard of Good and Gather or haven’t tried their food and snacks. You might be wondering “is Good and Gather a good brand?” These are the things that we keep stocked in our house!
The Good and Gather Brand + My Favorites to Stock Up On
Good and Gather is one of Target’s in-house brands, meaning it’s only sold at Target.
Good and Gather Vanilla Bean Granola is my all-time favorite snack food/breakfast food sold at Target. It’s so tasty, and I sometimes have to order it online and have it shipped to my house because it sells out in the store! They also have a version with almonds in it, if you like a little extra crunch.
Good and Gather bag of Fuji apples are always crisp and tasty
Good and Gather Water comes in 1 gallon jugs (for 75 cents… you can’t beat that!) and individual size bottles too. We don’t have great water in our town, so I prefer bottled water.
Iced Oatmeal Snack Bars are my new go-to snack. The kids like them, too!
Blueberry muffins are actually from Favorite Day, which is a different line but still Target owned.
Caesar salad kit is something I keep on hand for a quick lunch or as a side at dinner. The kids love the croutons that come in the kit.
Chocolate chips are a staple in our house for Sunday pancakes! I find the Good and Gather chocolate chips to be just as good as any brand name, and slightly cheaper.
Mini cinnamon rolls are also Favorite Day. They’re the perfect size and really tasty with your morning coffee.
Pickles! Because every pregnant lady needs her jar of pickles
Pantry staples from the Good and Gather line
There are a few items I shop for pantry staples when I’m at Target getting other things. The prices are affordable compared to the grocery store, and the drive up pickup makes getting my kitchen staples easy. They put the bags right into my trunk and it saves me from having to unbuckle the kids, go in (and attempt to avoid the toy aisles) and carry everything out to the car.
Peeled tomatoes to make my own tomato sauce
Unsalted butter for baking
Canola oil for baking
Pasta because my kids love a good pasta!
How to save on groceries at Target
If you’re looking for a way to save on groceries, you can sign up for the Target Redcard and get 5% off of every purchase. It takes off pennies per item but it all adds up! They have a debit card and credit card version of the Redcard. I also watch out for Target Circle deals, like 20% off certain brands or items. You don’t have to have the credit card for those Target Circle discounts – you can find them in the app!
