Beauty Empties Episode 1

Lately, I’ve been enjoying other bloggers’ posts about their favorite beauty products so I thought I’d share my own beauty empties! These are the latest products I finished up and my thoughts on each.

Beauty Empties Episode 1

This week’s beauty empties:

shampoo bottles, face wash bottles | Beauty Empties Episode 1

method Body Wash

In my quest to buy cleaner beauty products, I found method body wash. It smells SO good, it’s cruelty-free, and it’s made without parabens. And I can buy it at Target, where I go weekly. Keeping this on my shopping list for sure.

Ouai Fine Hair Shampoo

definitely a luxury shampoo, so I didn’t use this as my everyday. It smells heavenly! I’ll probably keep this on my birthday/Christmas wish list, but I’m not sure if I’ll buy it for myself.

TintKit

Technically a hair tinting kit for men but who cares. I use this to tint my eyebrows because naturally they’re very light brown. This one kit has 60 capsules which I split in half (you don’t need much), so this one box lasts for over 2 years. 2 years! So much better than the $10-15 a week I used to spend at the salon. It’s been so long since I bought this that the packaging has completely changed.

Tula Face Cleanser

I ordered this because I wanted something to replace my beloved Neutrogena face cleanser (again, in an effort to buy cleaner beauty products). I’m not sure I’ll buy it again because it’s really not that different from the Tula face wash, which I just rebought.

Tula Primer

I love this for a little bit of color when I feel extra pale. The only thing about this primer is that if you’re as pale as me, the primer can look a little streaky. It leaves a tan glow and is a good base layer for makeup. But sometimes I’m lazy and use it with moisturizer, not a full face of makeup, and I just have to be careful about the streaks. Will I rebuy? Probably. Available on Tula’s site and Amazon too.

CND Cuticle Eraser

This is my second tube of CND’s Cuticle Eraser and probably my favorite nail secret. I use this weekly and then push down my cuticles with this nail tool. I’m bad about messing with my cuticles if they aren’t perfectly clean, so I love this for upkeep. You can buy it at Walmart and Ulta.

Is there anything in your house that you run out of and immediately repurchase?
