If the shift from real life to post-pandemic life taught us anything, it’s this: Wirefree bras are where it’s at. In all honesty, I shifted to the wireless bra way of life after having my second baby (also during the height of the pandemic). And I’ve tried quite a few bras without wires. Here are the best ones so far!
Quick note: If you need a bra with lots of support, you’ll want to check out ones that have molded cups, wider adjustable straps, or a thicker hook and loop closure. I’m lucky that I can share from a perspective of both having a smaller chest (a small B cup back before kids) and needing more support (full C cup after having kids).
Best wirefree bra for everyday

Top picks:
Best Overall for all bra sizes: True and Co True Body Lift Triangle Adjustable Strap Bra
Best Affordable Option: Warner’s Women’s Plus Size Simply Perfect Super Soft Wireless Lightly Lined Comfort Bra
Best for Larger Busts: Chantelle Women’s C Magnifique Full Bust Wireless Bra (for larger busts)
Best Hook Back: Natori Women’s Bliss Perfection Contour Soft Cup Bra
My go to wireless bras are the Natori and True and Co options. I had been a big fan of the Natori Feathers (with wires) bra for years, so naturally I had to try their bra without wires. It’s comfortable, it lays flat, and it washes well. The True and Co is so comfortable that it actually feels like you have nothing against your skin! Highly recommend. This is one of my favorites for all day comfort, and sometimes I sleep in it, too.
Best wireless bra for sleeping
Key features of a great bra for sleeping: Over the head design, full coverage, thick straps (generally they’re not adjustable), light support
Top picks:
Best Overall: Jockey Women’s Bra Back Smoothing Seamfree Bralette
Best Affordable Option: Fruit of the Loom Women’s Everyday Smooth Wireless Bra, Full Coverage Shaper Bralettes with Strategic Support for Comfort
My most comfortable wire free bras are ones I actually bought for the early breastfeeding years. The Jockey option above was one I bought for the early postpartum weeks. I loved them so much that I just kept wearing them and buying more! They’re my favorite sleeping bra or wireless bra for lounging around the house in.
If you are looking for a wireless bra that gives a lot of support, these are not it. This one is a favorite for its light support, full coverage, stretchiness. Think of a sports bra but without any of the compression. (You wouldn’t want to wear these to work out, unless you don’t need any support.)
Best wire free push up bra
Key features of a great push up bra: Lots of support, full or semi coverage, adjustable straps
Is it even possible to find a good push up bra without a wire? Yes!
