Easter is only a few weeks away, so today I want to share my Easter basket ideas for babies, toddlers, and little kids. I also have some Easter basket ideas for toddler girls, a post I originally wrote when my daughter was 2.5!

Easter Basket Ideas for Babies, Toddlers, and Little Kids
I love putting together cute themed gifts for my kids. For their Easter baskets, I have monogrammed sashes that I tie on each. It’s actually the same sash I used in my son’s newborn photos! For the basket fillers, I don’t go nuts with toys. Normally I include something they can wear, something they need (like a new pair of spring shoes), and something crafty. You can’t go wrong with a good set of sidewalk chalk (this sidewalk chalk is shaped like ice cream treats!)!
Easter Basket Crafts and Creativity
I have a whole bin of craft items that I pull out from time to time when the kids seem to need something new to do. It’s the best: They sit down so excited to take on a new project. Here are some of my favorite creative items to add to an Easter basket.
Easter Basket Gifts: Music, Books, and Games
I chose some items for each age group, including shaker eggs (a favorite with my 9 month old), seasonal LEGO (great for both preschoolers and big kids), and more. I love the little tic tac toe games!
Easter Tabletop
I am a sucker for holiday-themed plates and cups for the kids, but I’m trying to reign that in. Two years ago in the kids’ Easter baskets I included these cute little mugs with their initials on them, and they use them at least once a week when they want a “mug like a grown up” (or, more often, to dunk their Oreos in milk).
Easter Clothing, Shoes, and Accessories
I always like to include something my kids can wear, because it’s practical. Grippy socks for toddlers and babies are always a good idea. This year I’m going to have to buy a new pair of shoes for them anyway for the springtime, so it might as well go in the Easter basket! I have been buying Natives for the kids for the past 3 years, and they’re the best summertime shoe. They can get wet, they dry fast, and they transition from playground to beach in the blink of an eye. These sneakers (below) are SO lightweight. My son calls them his “fast shoes” because he feels like he can run super fast in them. And both are Velcro-closure, which makes it easy for my kids to put their shoes on by themselves.
Speaking of shoes, if your kids can’t yet tie their shoes, there’s a cool product you can use to replace laces with elastic no-tie laces!

If you’re shopping for the under 1 year old crowd, here are some fun ideas for an Easter basket that you might be buying anyway! I love a sweet personalized bunny, a seasonal book, and new pajamas.

Is there an Easter basket idea for babies, toddlers, and little kids that works for all age groups? I think any of the above would be great for almost every age. Obviously babies have different needs than older kids, but you can decide based on your individual kids!
