Favorite Sale of the Year

My favorite sale of the year starts next week, so I wanted to give you all a heads up!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017

Last year I shopped the sale on the first early access day, sharing my winners and keepers. I plan to do something similar this year, too. The thing about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is that it’s super popular, and things tend to sell outĀ very fast. (So don’t wait if you see something you have to have!)

The sale also focuses on upcoming fall clothing items, not past seasons, so you’re basically saving yourself money by shopping earlier. Some of my favorite items from the catalog so far have a lot of velvet touches, perfect for the cooler months!

See what’s included in the sale here: Women | Men | Kids | Home

As far as what I have my eye on, here are a few things:

  • I always buy my leggings during this sale because they are rarely on sale the rest of the year. The brand I love comes in a regular legging, a high-waist version, and a crop.
  • Work pieces are alllways high on the list, even though they often get edged out for trendier pieces (oops). These blazers are great quality and are never priced this low! Plus, they come in a ton of different colors so you can stock up.
  • I always buy T his jeans during this sale, because (again) they’re rarely on sale outside of this time of year, and typically during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale they’re around 40% off.

Mark your calendars to come back here on the first day of the sale (July 14th!) to see what I had to have and what I’ll keep. If you aren’t a Nordstrom cardholder, you have to wait until July 21st to shop the sale. A couple of years ago I got the debit card, since you get all of the benefits of having the credit card (but without havingĀ yet another credit card). You can look into the card and its benefits here! (OR you can join Nordstrom Rewards without getting a card, and they’ll give you a $10 note to shop this sale! Learn more about that here.
