Little Sleepies Pajamas Review + Coupon Code

My sister was the first one to find Little Sleepies pajamas back in 2020. She sent us a matching set when our second child was a newborn, and we’ve been hooked since. The fun prints, the bright colors, the soft stretchy material! A mom started this brand and they’re now arguably one of the top bamboo pj brands. Little Sleepies offers two-piece pajamas, zip up pjs for babies and toddlers (up to 3T), and even some pajamas for moms, dads, and other adults. They started making bed sheets, swaddles, blankets, loveys, and hair bows, too, plus some clothing items under their “Play” line. Since I feel like this is a pajama brand moms should know about, I’m sharing my Little Sleepies review today (and a Little Sleepies coupon code too!).

Little Sleepies Pajamas Review + Coupon Code

The first thing that stood out to me about Little Sleepies pajamas was the fabric. They’re soft, stretchy, and cool to the touch. Little Sleepies was started by a mom of two, Maradith Frenkel, who wanted better sleepwear options for her kids. My kids love sleeping in Little Sleepies, especially on summer nights. The bamboo fabric keeps them cool in the summer but also warm in the winter. If you aren’t familiar with bamboo viscose fabrics, think of like a jersey material but softer. Most nights, my kids choose their Little Sleepies over any other jammies in their drawers! (To be fair, each of my kids has a lot of Little Sleepies in there…)

Little Sleepies is one of my favorite bamboo pj brands. If you open my kids’ pajama drawers, probably half are from Little Sleepies. (I’ve placed an embarrassing number of orders with this brand because I have loved them so much for the past 5 years.) They’re super soft, and because they’re so stretchy they last two times longer than any other pajama brand.

The “zippies,” as they’re called, have double zippers which makes diaper changes a lot easier. One zipper zips down from the top and one zips up from the bottom. They also have fold over mittens and feet. For babies with eczema, or just super sensitive skin, the fabric is really gentle and doesn’t cause flare ups (at least in our experience! Everyone in our family has sensitive skin.) Read down for my coupon code to save you 15% on any order.

How long do Little Sleepies pajamas last? Do they really last longer?

My kids are all different builds but they’re all tall. Especially for my oldest, who is long and lean, most pajama brands get far too short before they should. My 6 year old is a true 6 in most brands, but she can still easily wear her 4T Little Sleepies pajamas because of the stretch in the fabric. I buy her mostly the option of two piece set with long sleeve. (They also make a short sleeve with pants version, short sleeve with shorts, both of which go from 18-24 month size up to 12/14, and zip up baby pjs that only go up to size 3T.)

With a brand like Carter’s, my kids typically wear the size of their age (e.g. my 6 year old wears a size 6, my 4 year old wears a 4). But in Little Sleepies, my kids can wear them longer. My 6 year old can still easily wear her 4T Sleepies! I find that they last about one size longer than other brands. So yes, they really do last longer!

How much do Little Sleepies cost?

The two piece set pajamas (and zippies) are $34, but I have a coupon code to share! (Keep reading!) Shipping is free for orders over $25. Little Sleepies regularly releases limited edition prints and Disney collaborations, and those run slightly more expensive (I think $36 price point for a pajama set instead of the regular $34). You can find some Little Sleepies prints on Amazon, but my coupon code only works on the Little Sleepies site!

Play by Little Sleepies review

Moms were asking for Little Sleepies to make more items, so they started Play by Little Sleepies which offers t-shirts, dresses, skirts, shorts, pants, and more. The t-shirts with ruffle sleeves, pocket t-shirts, and twirl dresses with ruffle sleeves are so cute. So far of the items I’ve ordered, they run true to size. Though because they’re in the same stretchy material, you can squeeze a little extra wear out of them! My daughter is a true 6 and wears a 6 in the flutter sleeve dress. My son is a true size 3T and can wear a 2T in the t-shirts and rompers but won’t still be able to for much longer.

Update! My son is now in a size 4/5 in most brands but can still comfortable wear a 2T OR 4T in the Little Sleepies t-shirts. I honestly do not understand how this is, because I wouldn’t believe it myself tbh, but it’s the honest truth! They fit slightly differently, but he comfortably still has both in his drawer and in constant rotation!

Family matching pajamas

If you’re looking for family matching pjs, Little Sleepies has those! They make women’s in XS up to XXXL, men’s in S up to XXXL, and kids sizes from micro-premie, premie, and newborn to 12/14. I own two Little Sleepies pajama shirts for women. They were amazing when I was in the end of my pregnancies and in those early postpartum days. They’re cool to sleep in (if you run hot, you should try them!), and they’re breastfeeding friendly, too.

For the kids Little Sleepies pajama sets they offer footed zip up sleepers, sleepy bags, two piece sets with short sleeves and long sleeves, shorts or pants. They don’t offer footless romper pajamas (yet!). The signature prints are frequently restocked, while limited edition prints are released once (maybe twice) and then are not available afterwards.

How to care for Little Sleepies pajamas

It’s widely known that I strongly dislike anything that makes my life more difficult. I wash Little Sleepies pajamas with our regular clothes in the washing machine on the normal cycle with cold water and regular HE-friendly detergent. I do line dry some of them, but occasionally they get mixed into the load that goes into the dryer, and it honestly has never been a problem!

Some prints and colors have more wash wear than others: For example, many of our darker prints from Little Sleepies will have more wash wear than the lighter prints. But I really have never experienced an issue washing our pajamas in the normal wash cycle. One exception to this: I washed a pair of pajamas with a bunch of sweatshirts with zippers, Unfortunately, one of the zippers caught on a pair of LS pants and tore them. That said, once I started just zipping up the sweatshirts in the wash, I haven’t had a problem since!

Is Little Sleepies worth the hype?

“Worth it” is obviously very subjective. What’s worth it to my family might not be worth it to yours. But do I think you should try these pajamas if you have a child with sensitive skin or you feel like you’re constantly buying new sizes of pajamas? Yes. I also think you should try the women’s pajama shirts if you have a hard time finding comfortable pajamas that don’t make you feel hot at night. I wore them after having my 2nd and 3rd kids, and they really helped me stay cool at night.

Little Sleepies coupon code

Now onto the coupon code! If you use the Little Sleepies promo code LSLOVESYOU at checkout, you’ll get 15% off your order. It’s not limited to first orders, and you’ll also get free shipping on any order over $25.

One last note: Little Sleepies donates a portion of sales to Alex’s Lemonade Stand, which benefits childhood cancer research.
