Coming Soon: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

It’s almost the weekend of the Fourth of July, which can only mean one thing…

SALES.

I love a good bargain. I also hate having to spend extra just because I didn’t plan ahead, so I usually plan to buy larger gifts at either this time (4th of July sales) or during the Labor Day sales, depending on when the event is. I have a couple of birthdays and weddings coming up, so I’ll add a few things to my cart for those this weekend.

Important PSA: The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicks off on July 14th! It is one of my favorites because it’s essentially a pre-sale for the next season (rather than a sale on the past season’s items). While I do shop at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack throughout the year, the NSale has some of the best prices for stuff I would be buying anyway. Yes, it happens in mid-July and it’s for the fall, but I love dressing for fall, so I don’t care that I’m buying jackets in the summer. Plus, you can find goodies from brands that you don’t always see on sale, like DVF, Theory, Rag & Bone, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, and Rebecca Minkoff. Handbags and designer items like Rag & Bone jeans go fast, so shop the sale early!

If you have the Nordstrom credit or debit card, you’re in for the pre-sale which starts on July 14th. Public access (for everyone else) starts on July 22nd. August 7th is the last day of the sale, and prices go up on the 8th. I’ll share my sale picks soon, but in the meantime you can see what’s in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog on their site.

And for this weekend, Macy’s has an extra 20% off sale with code FOURTH (6/29-7/4). My picks from their sale section (all under $100 before the extra 20% off) are below:

Happy shopping!
