One Room Challenge: Week 5

Real progress has been made this week! Not only is the ceiling repainted and the terrible blue gone, but the furniture has arrived and is ready to go into the new room.
We accomplished a lot in the past week: including (but not limited to) painting this entire room, getting hair cuts for both me and Sprout, finishing my semester (well, when my last final paper is handed in), some outdoor work and new flower boxes on the porch, and my wedding hair trial. #getit

Because the room only has one window, it’s really hard to get a good shot with enough light. So excuse my less-than-professional photos and just appreciate how much brighter the room looks in person (picture it).
Sprout spent quite a few nights whining because he wasn’t allowed in the guest room. He likes to go in and see what’s going on in each room, so it was unsettling to him that he couldn’t get in there. Good news, though, the new paint color is Sprout-approved.
Check in next Thursday for the final reveal (and better photos)!
To do this week:
Hang travel photos
Move in the new furniture
Hang curtains
Stop buying shoes (unrelated, but seriously)
In case you missed the previous One Room Challenge posts:

Thanks, Sheila! I work full time too, so life is busy, but I like it that way!
