Summer Essentials

Summer always seems to sneak up on me, which might be because Boston can be 80 degrees and humid one day and 50 degrees and rainy the next (hello, Monday). It makes dressing for work rough, because I have to be prepared for the outside temps and the ridiculous air conditioning my office pumps out. Does it seem to anyone else like offices use as much heat as possible in the winter and as much a/c as the system can handle in the summer? Aside from needing a cardigan or blazer year round, there are some things I need to have in the summertime.

My summer essentials include a shower-ready dress (bridal or baby!), wear-anywhere nude heels, a fun swimsuit, sassy beach towel, and a pair of sunglasses that go from beach to cocktails. Because I have really fair skin, I also stock up on sun protection like a floppy hat and SPF.

A shower-ready dress is such a good call! It seems like that's the struggle every year! I really love the swimsuit you picked too!
