Is Quince Linen Worth Buying? I Tried Their Bestsellers to Find Out

Linen isn’t a fabric I’ve worn much in the past. But when I saw Quince’s linen pants, I thought they’d be perfect for our European vacation. After wearing them a bunch of times, I’m here to offer a linen Quince review!

I know that people tend to wear linen in hot climates for its moisture-wicking properties and ability to keep you cool in hot weather. Linen has a loose weave, which allows air to circulate a bit better than other fabrics. It is lightweight, can absorb moisture, and dries faster than many other fabrics. These are all reasons why people tend to choose linen for hot weather destinations like Miami!

Linen can be more expensive than other fabrics, though, and can wrinkle very easily. These are two downsides that I was looking for when shopping at Quince’s linen line recently. I really don’t like to iron my clothes (who has the time??) so items that wrinkle very fast just don’t last long in my closet.

Quince Linen Clothing: Try On

For this linen try on, I bought a few of Quince’s best sellers. Today we’re highlighting their midi fit and flare linen dress, linen pants, and linen European style dress. I forgot to take individual photos so these are stills from a video try on I did… I’ll go back and update them at some point!

European Linen Fit and Flare Midi Dress

Oh the silhouette on the European Linen Fit and Flare Midi Dress is just fabulous. I own it in navy blue (Deep Navy is the color online) but have had my eye on the light blue and white version too. I’m a smidge under 5’8″ and the dress fits me very well in terms of where the waist hits and the length, too. The dress straps have buttons so you can make them longer or shorter, which is genius. No tailoring required!

European Linen Wide Leg Pants

I bought the 100% European Linen Wide Leg Pants in two different colors but ended up only bringing the black to Europe. I kept the tan (called Driftwood), too.

European Linen Button Front Dress

The style of the 100% European Linen Button Front Dress is so cute on the model, but it just didn’t look right on me. The tan color is not right for my skin tone (I have pink undertones), and the dress was giving safari vibes. This one went back. I actually forgot to take a good picture before I shipped it back out, so this shot from my Instagram Story will have to do. I noticed the tan color is no longer available in this dress, so maybe it wasn’t a great seller for them.

The verdict on Quince linen: a Quince review

Overall, I find that Quince’s linen pieces are at the right price point (the linen maxi skirt and linen skort are both the lowest priced at $39.90, while the most expensive linen piece in the women’s line is linen corset dress at $89.90). The items I have are comfortable, and they look stylish too. They do wrinkle easily, which I think is hard to avoid with linen.
