Easy Garage Stroller Organization for Multiple Strollers

I posted a photo of our new stroller organization in the garage on my Instagram stories, and you all could not get enough of it. I’ve never had so many DMs about one thing! My husband was very proud of his garage storage rack setup.

Garage organizer idea for stroller storage

We originally had a tall shelving unit in the garage for various items, but it wasn’t a great place to store our strollers. The strollers were just kind of spread out in the middle of the garage between our two cars. As you can imagine, it wasn’t a good system. We were frequently moving one stroller out of the way to get to another. If you’re a parent (which you probably are since you found this post!), you know that strollers can take up a LOT of storage space. Unless you have a very large garage or designated space for strollers, you might be dealing with the same issue we were: Where do you put strollers to get them out of the way?

Not everyone has multiple strollers, I know. We have 4 strollers, including the click in base for our infant car seat (I think it’s called a stroller caddy or “snap n go”). The strollers we have all serve very different functions, from the one that folds up into a very small bundle (and is perfect for travel) to the one that is solely for jogging! I’ve thought about getting rid of one or two but I don’t know which I would cut out right now.

My husband ordered a wall organization kit, and he installed it in a really short time. It was quick to install, it is super functional, and it is nice and organized! When we chatted about how to store strollers in the garage, I hadn’t thought of hanging them up. It was brilliant. You can see all of the options for this hanging system here!

Here’s how to hang a stroller (or strollers) in your garage:

For our specific kit we used 2 of these hanging bars secured to the wall which we purchased on Amazon. We added 2 of the wider hooks (they come in a 2 pack) for the larger strollers like the BOB jogging stroller, 3 of the more narrow hooks for the smaller strollers (those can hold up to 25 lbs each), and then this J-hook (just one of them on this setup) for the sawhorse.

The strollers we owned at the time we did this project (left to right): Chicco Mini Bravo, Chicco caddy/car seat base – only works with the Chicco car seat, Maxi-Cosi Lara, Bob jogging stroller

You can also do wall-mounted hooks (heavy duty are a must) if you don’t need a ton of space. (These are another great option for wall-mounted hooks.)

And here it is updated with the strollers we own now! The BOB jogging stroller and BOB Duallie are both pretty heavy strollers but this wall system holds them up with no problem.

Garage organizer kit

P.S. This organization kit is really for hanging anything- extension cords, gardening tools, whatever you need. We use it for our strollers to get them out of the way, but you can use it for anything that you might need a storage cabinet for!

Hi – Can you link to the specific hooks you used? Did you use both the Rubbermaid fast track and the kit? Just a little confused if you used all of the links you shared or just one? Thanks!

I added a little section between the 2 large pictures with exactly what we have on our wall for the strollers. We did use the kit but it’s on the other side of the garage for utility stuff, but it’s a great option if you aren’t exactly sure what you need! Let me know if you have any other questions – happy to help!

Hi there, are you hanging the Bob strollers by the handle that you use to collapse them?
