With Mother’s Day (and Father’s Day!) on the horizon, I wanted to share a list of great Mother’s Day gifts for moms. Let me start by saying you know your mom best (or your wife or partner or whoever you’re shopping for!). This list is just intended to give you some ideas you might not have thought about! I’m also sharing gifts I’ve given my own mom that I think are totally worth it based on their usage.
Aura photo frame: I received one of these from my husband and kids, and I loved it so much we gifted one to my mom and my mother-in-law too. I like that you can download the app on your phone and add photos even from afar, so even though I rarely go to my mom’s house I can add photos to her frame. And for my mother-in-law, each of the siblings can add photos of their own kids and they appear right in her living room!
Birthstone jewelry: Some people are into this and some aren’t, but I am one who is “in.” I’ve had my eye on a Haverhill necklace with my kids’ birthstones and initials. It’s a lovely gift if you’re looking in the jewelry space.
Customized sweatshirt: I love that you can get whatever you want embroidered, like your kids’ initials or names or just “mama”
Dainty diamond necklace: At $150 for a diamond and 14k gold necklace, this is a steal. I’ve written about Quince before (their cashmere sweaters are a favorite!) and I think they make some fabulous gift items. Their luggage is another item I’d highly recommend. I travel frequently with their carry on and love how much it holds!
Comfortable sneakers: Last year I bought matching Allbirds for myself and my kids, and we have loved wearing them. Allbirds are so comfortable. My only complaint is that the lighter colors hold dirt and are harder to wash, but I love a matching moment with my kids!
Fluffy towels: For something that is practical but luxurious at the same time, new towels are a great gift idea. We recently replaced some towels and it’s so worth it.
