Did I miss the memo that 2015 was the year of the skeleton? Seriously, go back through your Instagram feed and tell me that 80% of it wasn’t full of skeleton costumes!
Growing up, the only thing store-bought at Halloween was the candy. My aunt has a talent for sewing, so she crafted us our costumes each year (except for the year I demanded to be an Oreo, which is the one year my dad made my costume… It was pretty epic!). Here are a few costumes that caught my eye this year for their originality. I’m filing these away for the future!
Leanne and her little one as Tink and Peter Pan
Christine and her son as Cruella and a Dalmatian puppy
Hitha and her family as Taco Bell taco and hot sauce
Harvard Dangerfield and his people as the White Rabbit + friends
P.S. Did you catch Sprout’s costume this year?
What were your favorites this year? And does anyone need 4,000 mini bags of Skittles? Because I may have gone overboard on buying candy…

The tinker bell one and peter pan is so cute!!
Oh my goodness, they are all so cute and so creative! I love them all and I will definitely check out their blogs! xo
I love seeing all of the great costumes! We have a parade in our town and it is so much fun, some people really go all out.
