A Sentimental Piece

I loved reading Emily‘s post about sentimental clothing items, so I thought I would share mine! Years ago we were cleaning out the attic at the house I grew up in, and we came across an entire wardrobe from the days my mom taught aerobics. While those neon crop top-and-track pant sets were tempting, it’s what was underneath the pile that actually caught my eye: an ivory tank with crochet detail. I set it aside and was excited when I tried it on later and it fit me perfectly. It’s so cool to think that this tank I wear now was worn by my mom 40 years ago!

Super cute!! Once upon a time i use to keep jeans that i believed i would lose enough weight to fit into but i eventually realized i didnt want to wait that long 🙂 I actually have some great colorful petite coats from my Oregon days that i love and just cant get rid of, even though i dont need them in sunny California.
